Awards Night Venue Hire in Ballarat
Where Achievement Meets Elegance
Ballarat’s business community has been choosing Mercure for its Awards Night Venue for years, thanks to function rooms built for staging, a big screen moment and a room full of people dressed to celebrate a win.
Sponsors need recognition, winners need a stage, and the room needs to look sharp in every photo: we handle all three. Our team works with your MC and AV crew ahead of time, so trophy presentations, category videos and the after-party run without a hitch.

Catering & Dining Options
A three-course dinner or canapes and bowl food: our kitchen builds the menu around your program, matching course timing to your award categories.
Staging & AV for Presentations
Trophy presentations need more than a microphone. We provide staging, lighting and screens built for MC scripts, sponsor videos and podium moments.
Sponsor Branding & Theming
Step-and-repeat walls, table centrepieces, stage backdrops: our team places your sponsors' branding thoughtfully throughout the room.
Pre-Dinner Networking Spaces
Give guests somewhere to mingle before doors open. Our lounges and terraces are built for drinks, conversation and a bit of pre-show energy before the main event.
Experienced Events Team
Run sheets, category timing, MC cues: our events team has coordinated enough awards nights to keep every category, cue and speech running exactly on time.
On-Site Accommodation
Finalists and interstate guests don't need to drive home after the last award is handed out. Comfortable rooms on site mean the night can run as late as needed.

Find the Right Room for Your Shortlist
Convention Centre
When your shortlist runs long and the guest list runs longer, the Convention Centre holds up to 600 without feeling like a warehouse. Full staging and AV handle categories from twenty finalists to two hundred.
Eureka Ballroom
300 guests, full AV, and enough floor space to theme the room top to bottom in your brand colours. The Eureka Ballroom is built for nights where the room itself does some of the talking.
The Conservatory
Not every awards night needs six hundred seats. The Conservatory holds up to 175 in a room with natural light and garden views, better suited to a tighter shortlist and a more personal evening.
The Gardens
Pre-dinner drinks under festoon lighting, sponsor banners along the pathways, photos before the sun goes down: the Gardens set the tone before guests even sit down for dinner.
Victoria Room One
Up to 100 guests, a fireplace for cooler months and deck access for anyone stepping out mid-program. Victoria Room One suits a smaller, more focused awards night.
Victoria Room Two
At 80 guests, Victoria Room Two is built for a tighter shortlist. Natural light, deck access and a fireplace mean the room feels considered rather than empty.
